New Builders Center Opens At Hershey Lumber Products
Crowds attended the grand opening of Hershey Lumber Products new building center at 213 West Chocolate Avenue. Manager D Paul Witmer led tours of the six thousand square foot display room designed as a people s building center with top building materials and floral displays.

Milton Hershey School Alumni Elect Officers At Homecoming
Hundreds of alumni from ten states and the District of Columbia gathered for the Milton Hershey School Alumni Association homecoming weekend. Officers elected include Melvin H. Garner president E Martin Kuhn vice president William L Schmehl treasurer and Kenneth V Hart secretary. A memorial service honored founders and deceased students as nine hundred alumni attended the banquet where William E Dearden introduced the new officers.

Ministerium Reaches Annual Union Thanksgiving Service
Hershey’s community Thanksgiving service will be held next Thursday at nine in First Evangelical United Brethren Church. Rev J W Quinivan hosts with Rev J Herbert Miller delivering the sermon and Rev J R MacDonald and Rev William Sheldon Blair giving prayers and scripture. Music is by the First E U B Church choir and organist Prof Robert W Smith. Proceeds go to the Derry Township Welfare Board.
