Ambulance Service Fifty-Plus Volunteer Crew Marks Six Months
The Hershey Ambulance Corps reports six months of service ending November 1 with 111 trips, about a quarter emergencies, 2,136 miles traveled, and 430 man hours by over fifty volunteers. Most trips went to Harrisburg area hospitals. 30 percent to Lebanon. many to Lancaster General. Emergency calls now use the 2003 line.
