Summer skating school open at Hershey arena
The Hershey Figure Skating Club hosts the fourth annual Summer Skating School at Hershey Sports Arena. Felix Kaspar directs with Miss Lois Thomson assisting beginners from two to three daily Monday through Saturday. Ten lesson tickets cost five dollars, or lessons are one dollar each.

Backyard Circus Aids Missionaries With Kids Effort
Eighteen Hershey children staged a circus at a home in Maple Avenue raising fifteen dollars for Presbyterian missionary work overseas. Roxanne Grosnick led acts including her dog routine while a games midway and refreshments entertained attendees. State Police Sergeant John S. Grosnick hosted the event with a bringer of makeup Trooper Charles J. Covage assisting.

The Hershey Lions Club last week inducted its one hundredth member at a dinner meeting in the Community Dining Room. Gethin J. Kurtz was the new member, sponsored by his father, with Dr. Charles Wilbur Jr. presiding as Lions District 146 governor. Lester Kieft spoke, and officers were installed led by George McClees as president.
