Hershey A A shows tight losses and big comebacks
The Hershey A A squad suffered 2-1 and 4-3 defeats to Washington Firemen and Palmyra A A in Lebanon City County League play. Lefty Gene Grubb and Bill Wenrich pitched well as Hershey rallied for a 3-2 lead before Palmyra tied and won on late hits. The Quarrymen moved to first while Hershey A A Juniors won 2-0 and 10-4 in Legion League action. A jokey note ends with a bank robber stealing only quiz show questions and answers in three sacks.
