Limmer Men Win Third in Hershey Golf Tourney Round
The Limmer men led by Harry Zimmerman defeated Reese 137-113 in the third round at Park Golf Club. Other third-round results included Garrison’s No. 1 team beating Hancock 152-129 and Smith’s No. 5 team edging No. 2 O’Neal 126-125. Medalist honors went to Octavio Lalli with a 71 from the No. 3 position. Third-round standings note Gumpher named 1957 Alumnus of the Year of Milton Hershey School.

Hershey Electric Company files rate cuts with PUC
The Hershey Electric Company filed with the Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission to revise residential and commercial lighting rates, reducing charges in several blocks. The new rates, effective after August 10 and billed from September 30, apply to Code classifications A E B F, with specific per kWh changes across blocks and a fixed rate for electric water heating. General and Primary Power Service rates remain unchanged.
