Hershey High Confers Diplomas for Class of 1958
Hershey High School awarded 254 diplomas to the Class of 1958 at a May 28 ceremony in the Hershey Community Theatre. Dr. A C Baugher of Elizabethtown College gave the commencement address on "The Price of Wisdom," with diplomas and awards presented by school leaders and staff.

Hershey Estates and Milton Hershey School prepare to launch U S Savings Bonds campaigns for employees starting Monday June 9. The campaigns promote Payroll Deduction Plan for Series E bonds with themes Strengthening Americas Peace Power and Share in America. Weishaupt Retires After Forty Three Years With Hershey Interests
Harold M. Weishaupt retires after more than 43 years with the Hershey firms retiring as assistant comptroller of the Hershey Estates and serving with the Hershey Electric and Water Companies, the Hershey Baking Company and other allied firms. He was honored with a wrist watch and a luncheon by the Hershey Trust Company board. He and his wife Elsie Mae Mellinger reside on East Areba Avenue and he has long served as a church and Lutheran home trustee.

Hershey Gardens displays about 40 000 roses across a 21 acre horticultural area with peak bloom expected this weekend. Admission is free and visitors may enter from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. The rose season runs from early June through mid September attracting locals and visitors from across the nation.
