Hershey Club Runs Youth Biddy Basketball Program
The Hershey Community Club supervises a twice weekly youth basketball program for Third and Fourth Grade boys with 30 participants. Directors Don Smith and Ken Heaps oversee sessions in the club gymnasium as part of the overall youth activity schedule.

Five Hershey High School students will perform in the Southern District Orchestra this weekend in Hanover under conductor Dr. Paul Van Bodegraven of New York University. The district ensemble includes about 150 students, with Miss Jane I. Emel accompanying as director of the school orchestra.

Hershey Hospital reports 508 births in 1957, a new record and up from 503 in 1953. The 1957 totals include 263 boys and 245 girls, with September the busiest month at 66 births and February third at 48.
