National Guard Open House Planned in Hershey Saturday
The Pennsylvania National Guard Hershey units host an open house at Caracas Avenue and Ridge Road this Saturday, February 22 from 2 to 5 p.m. to display armory facilities and training. the event marks Master Day and notes the new Headquarters Battery A and Medical Detachment of the 899th Anti-Aircraft Artillery, 28th Infantry Division. Four Hershey area men have enlisted and two Guardsmen transfer to Battery A to be near home. Enlistees: Earl R Lollo Jr, Donald C Smith, Samuel V Shull, Harold H Shull. Transfers: James and John W Price Jr.

Six Boy Scouts Awarded Catholic Church Honors
Six Boy Scouts received the Ad Altare Des Crosses, the highest spiritual award for Catholic Scouts, during National Boy Scout Week at St. Joan of Arc Church.
