Derry Township Schools Present Christmas Music Festival
The Hershey Community Theatre hosts the annual Christmas Music Festival on December 16 at 7 30 p m featuring about 250 students from Hershey High School Orchestra and Chorus, Hershey Junior College Chorus, Girls Chorus, a pantomime group, and a production staff. Conductors include Miss Jane I Emel Wilbert H Hartman and Paul G Fisher with Miss Elaine Trotter directing pantomime. The program begins with an organ prelude, follows with orchestral and choral numbers, candlelight processional, and a combined Gloria in Excelsis. The program showcases soloists and brass groups with audience carol sing-alongs.

The 899th Anti Aircraft Artillery Battalion will relocate from Lancaster to the old Reese candy factory at Caracas Avenue and Ridge Road in Hershey by December 15. An information and recruiting office is already staffed there. Commanding officers include Lt. Col. Daniel Rogers of Linglestown, Capt. Charles E. Romich Jr. of Harrisburg, 2nd Lt. Robert L.
