Plans for the seventh annual M S Hershey Day honor the late founder of Hershey with a Sept 13 program in Milton Hershey School auditorium. The U S Army Field Band from Fort Meade Md directed by Major Chester E Whiting will perform, joined by the Milton Hershey School Glee Club.

Cocoa Bean Bowl Opens High School Football Season
The fourteenth annual Cocoa Bean Bowl features Hershey High versus Milton Hershey School at Hershey Stadium. Proceeds fund equipment for Memorial Field playground and support Derry Township recreation projects. The event is sponsored by the Hershey Rotary Club with backing from the Derry Township Board of School Directors and school leaders.
