Miss Lingle Completes Fifty Years at Hershey Factory
Miss Lingle began her Hershey career August 20 1907 at fourteen and has nearly a year remaining until retirement. She is the last remaining fifty year employee still active while three others retired. Born in Sand Beach she started in hand wrapping later moving to automatic wrapping and in World War I shifted to billing and filing.

Record Concert Highlights Favorite Classics in Hershey
A hi fi record concert titled Top Favorites will be held August 29 at the Dell of the Rock Garden in Hotel Hershey. William C. Hoy will present selections including Tales from the Vienna Woods Mendelssohn Wedding March Malaguena La Boheme and the Carmen Overture. Admission is free from eight to ten p m Attendees should bring a folding chair blanket or pillow.
