Hershey High School March by Karl Moyer Debuts
Hershey High School Band will present the Hershey High School March by Karl Moyer at the April 22 spring concert. The piece uses the Alma Mater in the finale and showcases full band instrumentation with novel effects and harmonies. Karl, a student composer and chorister, also serves as organist at Seventh Street Lutheran Church in Lebanon and has been active as accompanist and director with the Hershey Chorus.

Miss JoAnn Magrini of Hershey has been admitted to Phi Beta Kappa at Pennsylvania State University for outstanding academic achievement. She receives the 1921 Memorial Scholarship and will be initiated at a May 17 dinner. She is a Penn State senior majoring in mathematics and a 1951 Hershey High School graduate.

Easter Sunrise Service Draws Hundreds at Hershey Garden
In 1955 Easter dawn, hundreds gathered at Hershey Garden for the sunrise service. Two young ladies, Franceea Garman and cousin Susan Gelener, posed in a photo at right while warm sun and clear skies boosted attendance across outdoor religious observances.

Dawn Easter Sunrise Service at Hershey Hillside
About 1000 people attended the Easter Sunrise Service in the Hershey Rose Garden. Rev William Sheldon Blair delivered The Triumphant God of Glory and Cyril Little sang with Robert Smith on piano. Milton Hershey School Glee Club Virgil Alexander led, and the Milton Hershey School Brass Ensemble was directed by Robert Maull. The service opened with Rev Thomas W Guinivan and Rev Stephen A Schullery.

Hershey residents will watch a WHP TV program titled Youth Looks At Business at 8 p.m. Friday on Channel 55. The Hershey Chocolate Corporation will be featured with Hershey High School vocational students. The 30 minute live segment and filmed remainder include a Q and A session led by S. F. Hinkle, plant manager.
Local Red Cross Drive Total Reaches 8029 97
Hershey and Derry Township contributions help the 1955 Red Cross drive surpass the Hershey Derry quota by 269 97 reaching 8029 97.Dear den expressed thanks to captains and workers for exceeding the goal and noted benefits to recipients. Mrs Maurer and Mrs Dearden joined as campaign aides after the initial list was published.
