Bears Fall In Seven Game Calder Cup Playoff Series
Marshall and Fisher led Hershey with ten and six goals respectively as the Bears pushed the Cleveland Barons to seven games. Goalie Gerry McNamara posted a 2.29 GAA and two shutouts as Hershey exited despite strong playoff effort. Coach Frank Mathers praised the team while noting penalties and manpower shortages doomed the run.

Mrs. John Beck, chairman of the 1957 Easter Seal Sale, reports Hershey residents have contributed 541 from 316 donors out of 1 758 letters mailed as of early week to aid crippled children served by the Tri County Crippled Children's Association. Last year Hershey residents gave 880 95.

Fifty six people attended the first organizational meeting at the Little Theatre. A nominating committee was named for choosing temporary officers, who will serve until a regular election plan is set for April 22 at 7 30 p m.
