High School Principal George D buys the first lily from Tri-Hi-Y Treasurer Joan Rakosky as Charlene Raynes watches. eighty girls in yellow poke bonnets will sell lilies on Friday to benefit the Tri-County Crippled Children's Association and the 1954 Easter Seal Sale continuing through Easter. The lilies are made by physically handicapped workers and symbolize hope for crippled children.

The Hershey air park sees rising activity as good weather returns. Fifteen privately owned planes join four Williamson aircraft used for flight instruction, air taxi service and sightseeing. Red Cross Campaign Surpasses 1954 Goal in Derry Township
Local chairman William E. Dearden reports Hershey and Derry Township exceeded the 1954 Red Cross drive goal by 570.80, raising 8,323.80 for disaster relief and armed services. The amount tops last year’s 8,301.13 and credits volunteers, team captains, and new captain Mrs. J Henry Lauzon of Palmyra.
