Meet the Parents review peters out despite De Niro and Stiller
A negative review of Meet the Parents stars De Niro and Stiller but finds the humor thin and uneven. The director keeps a jokey Austin Powers pace, while Greg Focker battles awkward in laws and overbearing CIA secrets. Overall the film remains a comic nightmare with few laugh lines.
