Cougars surge in semifinal as Moss leads scoring spree
CanyonHigh Cougars built an early 8-2 lead and expanded it with sixth inning hits and errors. Moss delivered a multi run effort and Behrend praised the team’s persistence as two inexperienced pitchers finished the day. In the other semifinal Andrews faces DeSoto with game times to be announced Monday.

New Braunfels NBISD and Parks and Recreation sponsor a Hershey’s National Track meet for ages 7 to 14 at Unicorn Stadium on June 22. Qualifiers advance to state, then top 500 per event nationally to nationals in Hershey Pennsylvania. Entry forms available from NBISD Community Education Office and Parks and Recreation.
