Manitowoc Man Found Dead In Snowmobile Accident
Elden H. Olp 27, of Manitowoc, was found dead beside his overturned snowmobile in a plowed field west of Rockwood. An autopsy was scheduled to determine the cause of death. sheriff officials noted the machine struck a furrow, went airborne about 30 feet, with ignition on and no obvious injuries. Olp’s parents, 1313 S. 15th St., were identified as his family. The discovery was made by local farmer Aloyce R. Seidl around 8 a.m. and reported to the sheriff’s traffic division.
