Contested Homestead in Oregon Filed By Heppner Man
James M. Heyes of Heppner files contest against Homestead No. 10774 in The Dalles land office alleging abandonment and noncompliance with residence and cultivation terms. Hearings set for December 15 in Heppner and December 3 in The Dalles before the US land office receiver, with final hearing to follow.

All parties with adverse claims must file by the date or their rights will be forfeited.
