The town promotes permanent city improvements including a cement watering trough at the west end of City Park with artesian water and a 60 foot cement driveway for sprinkler wagons. A tile drainage system will remove waste water, beautifying a public eye sore. The project, by cement man William Heininger, adds durable park infrastructure and hitchrails, with surrounding walks and a cement fountain already in place.
