Earl Osborne arrested for burglary at Paskell livery barn
Earl Osborne, son-in-law of Charles McKeel, was seen by John Green Jr. entering John R. Paskell's livery stable and taking a package from a buggy. He faced a hearing before James Chambers and was bound over to the grand jury on a burglary complaint, with a $200 bond. He later faced a separate theft case at M. L. Coan's grocery, involving a sack of flour, and his subsequent cases were dismissed for lack of sufficient evidence. The town blames increased theft and poor lighting at Hast and South Park for recent crimes.
