Sunday school convention gathers in Wheatland Township
The Wheatland Township Sunday School Convention met at Cottage M. E. church on Sunday Oct 19 with President T A Runnells in charge. Members discussed duties of superintendent secretary and treasurer, choir and lessons, then Rev H Coolidge addressed attendees. A vote of thanks capped the session and delegates returned home after a fruitful gathering.

Henry change admired by Battles after Long sojourns
Mr and Mrs John H Battles spent days in Henry and vicinity with former acquaintances. Battles, a Civil War captain, spent years in Rock Island and Nebraska then acquired large holdings in Oklahoma.
