Transposed heart case shocks Muscatine clinic crowd

Shell threat halts work at Galesburg foundry
Workmen at the Van Houff fel foundry in Galesburg stopped a pig iron dump after spotting a six inch shell that could have wrecked the plant and killed workers. Officers say the shell is unexplained as the plant is not involved in munitions. On Wednesday Frederick MMier was accidentally struck by a bomb in the street and killed.
