County Superintendent Perry reports thriving conditions across Marshall County schools. Funeral for Floyd Betz Follows California Move

Floyd Betz’s remains arrived from Los Angeles to Chillicothe served by his brother in law Reynolds Gertaker. The Betz family held services at Bethel church and laid him beside his father Daniel Betz in Spartana cemetery. He died after an accident in a cold storage plant while working as an helper and was about 25 years old. A coroner’s inquest found death by concussion from falling and striking his head.
