Eighteen Princeton businessmen hosted McKinley Traction officials to push for a passenger and freight depot, an express office, and a Telepost station. Plans include a south end depot near the American House with waiting rooms, freight and baggage areas, and executive offices. The interurban line aims to boost local trade as freight and passenger traffic rise.

Remains of Miss Sarah Ross Brought to Bradford
Miss Sarah Ross died in Murray Indiana after a week long illness from grip lung and heart trouble. She was about 50, born in Ireland. She lived with the Weir family in Saratoga township and served as housekeeper to Thomas Weir. Burial followed at Saratoga cemetery beside a relative.

Swaney School free transportation case to high court
The Swaney school case from Magnolia township reaches the supreme court after the appellate court upheld the Putnam county circuit court ruling enjoining the John Swaney school directors from using funds for free pupil transport. Leases Geneseo Hotel Tony Renz Takes Peoria Post
Tony Renz, longtime Peoria hotel clerk and head clerk at the National hotel for years, will leave May 1 to take charge of Geneseo’s Geneseo house which he has leased for a long term. He plans to remodel and create one of the region’s most modern hostels. Renz is a nephew of Mrs Istdraw Feidler and cousin of Mrs Frank Krenz.

Mrs Elizabeth Sturm Dies at Bradford of Pneumonia
Mrs Elizabeth Sturm died at noon last Wednesday in Bradford from pneumonia. Aged 88, she lived most of her life near Bradford. Survived by four sons John Anthony Frank and James, four siblings Daniel Phenix Mary Drawyer Abram Phenix Harmon Phenix, 58 grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Funeral held at the M E church on Thursday. George Barto of Joliet visiting Peterman cousins and duck hunting nearby.
