Supreme court rebels against tax sale in township high school case
The Illinois Supreme Court reverses a Putnam county order of sale for delinquent 1916 high school taxes amid curative acts validating township districts. It holds the county court erred in denying the appeal and remands for judgment for the taxes and sale against the property. The decision impacts Henry and other districts state wide.
