Frank Koeppele a 53 year old Austrian resident of Peoria and the man linked to the 1906 Lee county case near Lacon is captured in Peoria and handed to Marshall county authorities. Italian miner Caetano Costelli, 46, was killed while switching cars north of Toluca. A coroner's inquest heard witness Joseph Berry describe Costelli between wheels as two cars moved. W G Sherman died in Indianapolis aged 14 years after swimming and cramps. Funeral held in Indianapolis last Monday with relatives from Henry August Gresser Peoria noted. Elizabeth Gresser, of this city, is his daughter. funeral at St Mary s church occurred this morning.
