Tragic Find After Trip Home From Camp Grant
Mr and Mrs Patton and their children returned from Camp Grant Rockford to discover Mrs Patton dead on the cellar floor. The hired man said she took milk to the cellar about 7 pm and offered no complaint of illness. Suspected heart trouble, given past episodes, but she had been feeling well recently. The family usually traveled together but chose a shorter trip this time. The shock of the discovery was profound.
