Drowning Death At Illinois River Beach
Harold Latourette, 10, son of Mr. and Mrs. J. T. Latourette, drowned while swimming with friends at the Swain boat landing near Main Street in Peoria. Attempts by bystanders and doctors failed to revive him. Coroner's inquest concluded drowning as the cause. Funeral services were held at St. Mary’s. Interment at nearby cemetery.
