Rev. William G. Pritchard Rites Held in Washburn
The Washburn Ill leader and family man William G. Pritchard died after a long illness at age 44 in Washburn. Born in Richland County Ohio, he lived in Marshall County Illinois and Galesburg before returning to Washburn to visit his parents. Funeral services were held at the Pritchard home with Free and Accepted Masons assisting and interment at Mt Vernon cemetery. He was survived by his wife Nellie Norris Pritchard, three sons, an infant daughter, six brothers and sisters, and his parents. He was noted for steadfast purpose and honorable business and home life. His brother Prof B J Pritchard of the Varna school is mentioned.
