Mrs Elizabeth Vail died Friday morning June 27 1902 at her son in law William Ball’s home in Putnam Illinois after a long illness. She was born Elizabeth Malil in 1852 and married Alexander Vail in 1872. Survived by son Daniel and Jennie Stram Ball, brother and sister lines, and six brothers with three sisters. Funeral at Putnam M E Church with Rev C C McCown and Rev B L Wray, burial in Henry cemetery.
