Bulbul delights Henry Opera House with Choral club performance
The Henry Choral club offered the operetta Bulbul at Henry Opera House under Prof. H W Seitz with Eva Harrison at piano and the Peoria Symphony providing musical support. The garden party setting impressed the audience as King Saint and Princess Bulbul featured in romantic numbers, with Mrs F W Potter and Seitz singled out for standout performances. The production drew praise for its training, finale, and overall presentation yet lamented the small local chorus and called for more community involvement and a planning meeting at Mrs F W Potter's home.

Encouraging Outlook for Kewanee and Eastern Railroad Survey
The Kewanee and Eastern railroad surveyors will base in Henry starting tomorrow while surveying Saratoga and Whitefield townships. They secured the Commercial club room to draft plans, with promoter C B E Smith stating current steel prices favor building and expecting road work to begin well before spring, though state approval may cause brief delays.

Story Hour Marks Milestone in City Child Welfare History
