About 30 farmers from Wheatland Bureau county and Senachwine Putnam county pressed the state highway commission Monday in Princeton seeking a 2.5 mile road from Lone Tree. They appealed a Wheatland township decision denying the petition. James Wilson of Polo heard testimony and will report findings this week in Springfield. A state ruling is expected within ten days.
