Gas Flow Discovered at Green Place North of Camp Grove
A well at the Green place, about a mile north of Camp Grove, tapped a steady gas flow at 90 feet. The stream, initially 7 pounds pressure, was piped into Mr. Green’s home 60 feet away for lighting and cooking. If permanent, the supply could heat the home and be extended to Camp Grove, potentially becoming a local gas gold mine.
