The Henry postoffice will relocate to the Potter building on Edward Street in early September. The move will implement stricter rules and improved equipment to speed mail delivery and reduce handling, with lobby hours and window services adjusted during the transition.

Mrs Minerva A Broaddus died yesterday at 8 30 am at 927 West Green Street Urbana after eight months of illness. Born January 26 1828 in Zanesville Ohio she moved with her parents to what is now Lacon Marshall County as early settlers. She married Christopher Broaddus September 6 1844 and spent 44 years on the old Broaddus homestead near Henry. Widowed in 1871 she ran the farm until 1888 when she moved to Urbana. Survived by five children Mrs H V Crossland Sheldon Marshall Broaddus Henry Mrs Jessica H Farr Miss Polly Broaddus and Mrs T A Clarke Urbana Funeral at 40 o'clock this Thursday at her residence 837 West Green Street Urbana burial at Lacon Friday afternoon.

The community mourns Gilbert In-Vankreet who died minutes after being struck by a train while helping two friends to the station. Born in Lebanon New Jersey about 60 years ago he moved to Henry Alls in 1884 and later farmed in Saratoga township before settling in Zion City with his wife Magek Divebill. He is survived by his parents Mr and Mrs Henry, a son, two brothers, and other relatives. Funeral services were held at Zion City Episcopal Church with local clergy and church groups participating.
