Henry Township Wins State Honor Flag in Liberty Loan Drive
Henry township over subscribed its quota on opening day of the third liberty loan sale. T J Se graves notified Chicago at 9 pm that Henry earned the state honor flag for going over the top. J Thompson mailed the flag to Henry, hung at Duke Bros store, and displayed in the opera house. A ratification meeting may be held if Marshall county flags the state honor flag.

Mrs Ray of Chicago spoke on Our World War and the committee's role, outlining tasks in Liberty Loan Food Production Child Welfare Social Service Health and Recreation and Woman Industry. The 24 by 76 foot space features a marble topped soda fountain glass show cases and new fixtures including a wide central aisle and modern design.
