Death of John R Chase in this city
John R. Chase, born November 11, 1841 in Epping New Hampshire, died Saturday April 11, 1922 at his home here after declining health. He leaves two wives, two daughters Sarah and Emma, and one son Frank A. Chase. A longtime Christian man and member of the I O C FL, he moved from Dwight two years ago and received care from local friends before passing. His body was sent to Dwight for interment, with A B Smith assisting.

Sunday Easter services at St Josephs Catholic Church led by Rev M Brennan drew near capacity crowds. The ornate altars lilies carnations and ferns filled the sanctuary as the choir performed Rosini mass and Cecelia Berry sang The Resurrection.
