Funeral Services Held Sunday for James A Hynds
Funeral services for James A Hynds longtime Putnam County official were held Sunday at the Dysart Funeral chapel in Granville. Hynds died at St Margaret s hospital Spring Valley after a months long illness. He served Putnam County as treasurer and sheriff in earlier years and was active in local affairs. He was born December 15 1901 in Marquette and married Theresa Bruno in Granville February 4 1933. Surviving are his widow three sisters and his mother.

Enoch Grange age 84 of Henry died Wednesday morning at Shady Elms Rest Home after four months of illness. Born May 14, 1871 in Tiskilwa he lived in the area most of his life. Survived by son, daughter Eunice Johnson of Ciudad Trujillo, Dominican Republic, wife predeceased him, two brothers Warren of Chicago and Arthus of Toulon. Funeral at Green Funeral Home Friday at 2:30 p.m. DST, Rev. Ray Schultz to officiate. Burial in Henry City Cemetery. Friends may call after 2 p.m. Thursday.
