Rooftop Restaurant Inches Toward Opening in Hendersonville
A Main Street rooftop restaurant in downtown Hendersonville moves toward its opening with plans for a flexible name and menu. Owner Bobby Rogers, a homebuilder, seeks to avoid repeating Irish or pizza themes and aims to adjust offerings as new competitors debut while awaiting final menus. The historic building at 202 N. Main St underwent renovations including doors, lighting, awnings, signs, a fire escape, rooftop seating, and a greenscape between seating and the roof edge. Built in the 1920s, it once housed a tin shop and later Blue Bird and Carson Ice Cream firms, then Sinclair Office Supply for 36 years.
