Mills River Town Park costs rise with left turn lane debate
Mills River Town Park project costs climb as the addition of a left turn lane from NC 191 to the park becomes a DOT requirement for completing softball fields. Town officials estimate a possible 150000 to 200000 expense, while fundraising continues for three more fields and park improvements. The town plans a November 9 dedication of the Military Memorial and will add security cameras.
