Henderson County Spot Checks Meet BMP Contract Maintenance

Henderson County Soil and Water Conservation District conducted spot checks on ACSP AgWRAP CCAP funded contracts totaling over 1.3 million for BMP installations. From 179 active contracts, 10 sites showed excellent compliance, 3 needed minor maintenance, with pro-rated payback for noncompliance. Checks were done on June 8 by Jonathan Wallin Laurie Brokaw and Drew Brannon.

BMP Programs Accept Applications In Henderson County

Henderson County Soil and Water Conservation District invites applications for NCACSP Ag WRAP and CCAP funding to install water quality BMPs. Programs cover technical help and partial costs. eligible BMPs include stream stabilization, fencing, riparian buffers, no till vegetables, manure handling and more.
