Thompson to retire after 40 years in Henderson County service
Tommy Thompson will not seek re election after 32 years as Henderson County Clerk of Superior Court and two Board of Commissioners terms. He cited gratitude for county relationships and plans to continue serving through church and civic groups. Filing for three County Commissioners seats opens Feb 12 with primary May 8.
