Flat Rock Eyes Highland Lake Property as Park Option
Flat Rock officials weigh a 67 acre Highland Lake Golf Club site for a park with fields trails and gardens. The owners say the property remains for sale and open to buyers, while the council weighs long term operating costs and funding from a projected May 2013 budget. The move would be among the village’s largest capital investments in 17 years, with no current agreement in place.
