Community leaders honor Chat Jones at Henderson County Kiwanians
John Grear and others recalled Chat Jones's decades of charity work with Morris Kaplan's shoe program and Rotary fundraisers. Dr Don Jones noted Jones helped a homeless Hendersonville student reach NC Central University with a laptop and ride. Neighbors remember his truck of mulch for Balfour School and diaper drives for single moms.
