Cold case murder charge tossed out in Brevard
In Brevard, a judge dismissed the 2013 murder charge against Michael Owen in the 1996 disappearance of Edna Glaze after ruling the case was too cold and fair trial rights would be compromised. Owen walked free as prosecutors acknowledged the passage of time and missing witnesses hindered the investigation.
