County opens first Family Justice Center for abuse victims
Henderson County launches a countywide Family Justice Center to aid victims of interpersonal violence. Mainstay, the Mediation Center, Pisgah Legal Services, DSS, law enforcement, and the district attorney join to provide a central hub for case information counseling and reporting. The TIP Trauma Intervention Program will offer on call support for families after violent crimes.
