Settlement settles split over First Presbyterian Church building
In Hendersonville North Carolina the former First Presbyterian Church which left the PCUSA in 2013 will retain the church building after a $600000 settlement. The agreement approved unanimously by the Western North Carolina PCUSA and by both congregations on April 26 ends a years long dispute over property and church ownership. The remaining PCUSA congregation retains the name and continues ministry at 610 Yarborough Street with Rev Dr Kathryn Cameron as its minister.
