Laurel Park plans tax and water bill increases in budget
Laurel Park would keep its property tax rate at 36 cents per $100 while adding a half cent fire tax and a 2 percent water rate rise under a 2013 14 budget proposed by Town Manager Jim Ball. The general fund totals $2.15 million, up 3.5 percent, with water and sewer costs rising for residents and a planned replacement of the Hebron pump house roof. A public hearing is scheduled for June 18.
