Hendersonville council honors volunteers for mural restoration
Mayor Barbara Volk and the Hendersonville City Council praised Mark Ray and Nancy Pew for restoring a 90 year old building at 620 N Main St and convincing Coca Cola Bottling Co to restore two historic murals. The Pace s Market Ellison s Market and Higgins Quality Press history outlines the site s changing identity. Ray moved Dad s Collectibles to the 600 block recently. Emilie Nicholls of Coca Cola Bottling in Charlotte noted Hendersonville has three restored murals, including Mike s on Main at 303 N Main St.
