Kenmure Fights Cancer raises funds for new beds
AdventHealth Hendersonville cancer services celebrate the arrival of state of the art exam beds funded by the Kenmure Fights Cancer 2022 campaign. The donation totaled 64000.18 dollars to the AdventHealth Foundation, financing safe transfer tables improving patient comfort and exam access for disabled and elderly patients. The Kenmure community has donated over 846000 dollars to cancer care locally since 2008. The group plans a March to a Million in 2023 and invites more support through kenmurefightscancer.org.

County budget outlines up to 199 million for Grove Street project
The proposed budget allocates 20 percent to human services and contemplates borrowing up to 199 million for the Grove Street Courthouse and jail expansion with debt service starting in FY2025.
