Saluda Historic Tour showcases Shand Hill homes and pickle points
Saluda hosts a 1 to 5 p.m. walking Tour of Homes on June 3 to raise funds for preservation. Five Shand Hill residences plus Saluda Depot, Saluda Presbyterian Church and Thompson's Store venue welcome visitors. Tickets are $20 at City Hall, Depot, and Heartwood Gallery with shuttle service from the library. Parking is available in city lots. The tour highlights Shand Hill as an early summer home area with the McGuire family Ivy Terrace built circa 1890.
